TEMPORARY IMPORT / EXPORT IN FRANCE
VERY IMPORTANT FOR TEMPORARY IMPORTATION :
Whenever temporary import customs formalities are required for the shipment of equipment into France, the equipment should be transported under a T1 Transit Document. This procedure allows VIBRATECH to complete the temporary import customs formalities through its authorized Temporary Storage Facility (LADT).
• A T1 transit document must be issued by the carrier, freight forwarder or customs broker before dispatch.
• The T1 document should identify VIBRATECH's LADT facility code: 0443CMDT VIBRATEC.
• The competent customs office is TOULON LA SEYNE, with NCTS code FR004430.
• The original transit documentation must accompany the equipment and be presented upon delivery.
• The commercial invoice should clearly state that the shipment is temporary and is intended for inspection, verification, calibration or repair, as applicable.
IMPORTANT: Do not ship the equipment as a definitive export or permanent import when it is being sent temporarily for service.
